While many of us will not share our tooth brushes with our best friends due to the obvious risks involved, most of us still share hair brushes and combs not only with our friends but with total strangers.
Though we could have caught lice sharing combs and brushes, we wrongly believe that nothing else could be caught in adulthood but how wrong we are with such assumptions. Using someone else's brush still puts you at risk for catching unwanted critters including scabies, and even staph infections.

It is therefore extremely important to own your weave kit when going to the salon to ensure you don't expose yourself to danger. Regularly cleaning of brushes with disinfectant will also go a long way in minimizing the likelihood of also being a carrier/holder/owner of an infected comb.
